SMS AND TEXT MESSAGING TERMS

1. THE PROGRAM

Ecom Degree LLC, doing business as Ecom Degree University, operates a text messaging program that sends workshop reminders, access links, appointment reminders, customer care messages and, where you have agreed to receive them, promotional messages about our programs.

2. YOUR CONSENT

CONSENT TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES IS NOT A CONDITION OF PURCHASING ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE. YOU MAY BUY FROM US WITHOUT AGREEING TO RECEIVE TEXTS.

You are enrolled only when you give prior express written consent by affirmatively checking an unchecked box next to the consent language, or by texting a keyword to our number. We keep a record of the consent language shown to you, the date and time, and the technical record of your agreement.

Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone Dialing system. By consenting you agree to receive such messages at the number you provided, and you confirm that you are the subscriber or the customary user of that number and are authorized to consent for it.

3. FREQUENCY, RATES AND CARRIERS

  • A. Message frequency varies. You can expect up to ten messages per month, and more around an event you registered for.
  • B. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's charges are between you and the carrier.
  • C. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • D. Not all carriers or handsets are supported, and delivery is not guaranteed.

4. HOW TO STOP

Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages. You will receive one confirmation and nothing after that. You may also email support@ecomdegreeuniversity.com with the subject line “stop texts”, or tell any member of our team.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at the address below. We honor opt-out requests promptly and maintain an internal do-not-contact list.

Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or telephone contact, and does not affect your enrollment, your access or any right you have.

5. YOUR PRIVACY

Your mobile number and the record of your consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.

6. COMPLIANCE

This program is operated to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and its regulations, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 310, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, and comparable state law. Where a state law gives you a stronger right, that law applies.
